aa this blog post is so late!!! i got super busy with finals so i havent had the time to add what i've been doing!! my bad >_< but because of finals i had the time to watch alot of shows, well not really watch but like play in the backgroung while i work lol. Starting with record of ragnorark, idk how to feel about it? Typically i love fight animes since im simple brained and love when people punch eachother but this one felt meh. To mention, this review is based off only the anime, specifically in the english dub since i was doing my homework while i was watching it. Off topic but i don't usually mind English dubs, like i feel like any series released around 2010 and up typically has a good to ok english dub but for ROR it was just really bad??? and the way the anime is paced i feel as if the characters are introduced too suddenly for like the audience to get attached too?? like the only character i'm even remotley intrested in right now is buddah and its probably because he was introduced before his fight and u got to like meet him as a character. While they do try to expand more on the surviving characters it only happens after their fight?? I haven't read the manga and don't really plan on it, maybe its better but idk...if this show continues its second season or gets a s3 i'll probably watch it but if it doesn't i won't really get sad about it.
Next up we got black clover, its my guilty pleasure alrigth?!? Whenever i see people talking about the flaws in this manga/anime i can't help but agree but man are the flaws what i dig in a shonen. what i really like about it is that they don't like try to make the MC super powerful by like default. Like ima use MHA as an example, like deku only got into pro hero school (or whatever its called) because allmight like gave him his power right, but like if all might never did that would he have gotten in through like his struggles and trying? probably since like "anime" but we never get to see that because he's just gifted a magic power! but like with asta at first he isn't given anything (like deku) but then when he does get a power its like his power is that he has no magic and won't be affected by magic!! i just think its more fun, like its a power to give him a chance at surviving in the rules of that universe but it still allows the challenging aspect. idk its just fun :)
to sandwich this with another show i hated, aggretsuko... I wanted to rewatch it since i dropped the series after season 3, and spoilers i didn't like the ending :/ i felt like the ending was super rushed and i wish she stayed an idol!!! Like we know she likes deathmetal, and she looked like she was having fun doing the idoling! the whole stalker ark felt so dumb and was litterally just a ploy to make her stop so they could ruin the series more in s4 >:( and then in season 4 we just have haida fucking sucking arc and being a cringe loser, like he became so annoying after this (he was already on thin ice for me) and season 5?? SHE FUCKING RUNS FOR POLITICS?!?! WHY I DONT UNDERSTAND THIS IS SO FUCKING STUPID!!! I THOUGHT THIS WAS A SHOW ABOUT AN OFFICE WORKER WHO LOVES DEATHMETAL WHY ARE THEY RUNNING FOR OFFICE. i get that this show is kinda written in like a "kdrama" way where everything is super dramatical but man it really turned me off. i want to rant more about this, but im really tired and kinda have forgotten most of what even happned in the show?? i know that in season 5 retsuko does marry haida but its like such a small scene?? like wasn't her goal to get married and find happiness or somethin??? idk im just going to stick to shonen i guess lol.
SO BUSY AAA! With school starting I havent been watching much, FMAB i've been watching sometimes (almost finished with my rewatch) and ive been missing out on so many animes!! Theres like such a trend with like 5 amazing, hyped, series comming out at once? like 2 months ago CSM, Mob and im pretty sure bleach and JOJO part 6 came out at the same time (or close enough) too! thats so wild!! like i havent finished ANY of those btw, to little time >_< and like this month theres Trigun (Cant wait to binge soon!! i'll probably make an exclusive post) Way of the house husband, vinland saga s2 and even tokyo revengers s2(totally forgot about that!!) i hope i'll get some time to watch these but with midterms jump scaring me next week idk... ._. but lets talk more about school! i don't remember if i mentioned but alot of my english class is watching movies and shows and analyzing them! So obviously the movies above are some i had to watch lol. we stared with the goonies which fucking sucked... i know its an 80s film but i just couldn't get behind all the sterotype shit? like it was hella long and boring too. and the tone shifts in the begining?? like theyre swearing and trying to be so edgy and then like 10 minutes later is haha silly adventure? it was boring booooo but then next we watched toy story which is like definitly better but story wise ok? I mean its really good but i've just seen it so many times? weird thing i've low key have associated toy story with being a christmas movie cause like toys but obviously its not but yeah. Ex machina was cool in that it was so over the top sexist it became alil funny, we love a good male gaze ya know? the dancing scene is 10/10 love when ava kills men. Breaking bad suprised me tho cause like its so good??? like its not like peak cinima but i was like "holy shit im so invested now" im on like s2 now and im just screaming the whole time. Jesse so far is my fav since hes the most redeamable i hope walter dies hes mid and boring. My friend group is planning on watching Zoolander, Surfs up, and Lupin the Third the first together so hopfully that makes it on to my list for next month!! see you then :DD
Notes: aaa my last month before i go back to college ;-; i'll miss my free time... I'm pretty sure i stated this last year but i really wanted to revisit some of my favorite animes that i haven't seen in a long time!! looking back on this year i had rewatched so many series!! blue exorcist, one piece, hunter hunter, was so good!! rewatching them reminded me why they were my favorites!! i even compleated series i was super into when i was younger (cough cough my gintama obsession) so it made sense i end the year with starting one of my all time favs, FMAB!! I actually wanna make a shrine page for it to explain why i love it so much :33 but the story and characters just make me go askdjksfjlasjd for short!
On my break i tried to play more video games!! i miss them at college!! i got time for nothing ;-;... i really wanna finish yakuza 0, ive had it since early 2020 and im still on chapter 4!! im so slow at games >_< i also dont have alot of time? so it makes sense.. and i jump around between games.. im terrible i know lol. but hopfully i make more progress on it before i leave!! thats all for the december logs!! ima make a blog post and then return to the art realm!!
Notes: I haven't watched alot since i was busy with finals and moving back from college for winter break (more on my blog haha!) so i've mostly kept to watching new episodes as they have come out! But once i was back i started blood blocade battle front!! I'm almost finished with the second season and i'm vibing! its not like gonna be a new fixation or anything but its fun!! and i love that zapp has the same voice actor as Zoro/hijikata!! i swear if a show has Kazuya Nakai voicing someone im 100% gonna watch it!! (looking up his behind the voice rn and omg?? he voiced obi from fireforce?? aaaa that totally makes sense! speaking of that i should rewatch fireforce-) but yeah! he's basically voiced all my favorite characters like Ryuji (blue exorcist) and mugan from samurai champloo!! I think i've mentioned it before but im thinking instead of trying to watch new (or new to me) animes that next year im going to revisit alot of my favorite shows, currently im rewatching Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood but maybe after that i'll rewatch samurai champloo!! honestly if i ever get around to making the shrine pages i've been wanting to make for like a year now i want to make a samurai champloo one!! i don't think its under-rated, its kinda like cowboy-beepbop (haha same director lol) where everyone has scene it but maybe only like once or twice. i need more people to be metally ill about it like me ya know? I've also been meaning to finish season 2 of code geass!! i remember watching the abridged years ago and never got around to the original and (spoilers for the 2009 anime lmao) but i got so mad about how euphemia died for like NO REASON, she wasn't even a favorite character of mine i was just like "NOO!" when she got turned (?) or whatever like it was so tragic ;0; man really played himself into that. Anyways thats been novembers log!! have a day lol

Notes: Its October 17th and i finally got around to making the september log! aaa i got class in like an hour so i gotta keep this quick, so ignore the typos lol! I didn't watch or do a whole lot since school is taking up so much of my time!! My october log is probably gonna have more in it since i've been watching/reading one piece (ive caught up past the anime so wooo!) To start, ive been watching alot of furry animes lol. it started with my college friends and I watching Sing 2, one of them really liked the white wolf characters so later i introduced them to brand new animal so i've been watching it with them!! ofcourse they love shirou lol. Beastars came into the mix as well since we were talking about legoshi, i hadn't seen the english dub of s2 (even tho i adore practically all the VA's) so we've been watching that too whenever we have time. I got a projector during the middle of the month so we've been doing afrew watch parties. Its mostly been bad horror movies tho lmao. Extrodinary attorney woo has also been good!! i'm not finished with it yet but its very cute and she reminds me of myself alot :333. As a lil spoiler for whats going to come next month- Tiger and bunny s2 is filling my brain!! while i haven't gotten to Golden kamuy, Chainsaw man, or Mp100 im gonna try to watch all the first episodes and give my take on them in the next update since their all shows ive been looking forward too!! Hopefully tonight i get to post a main blog update to let yall know more of the details goin on in my life~! thank you for reading !!!
Notes : during the begining of the month i got back into Wii emulation!! i did alot of gaming up untill i broke my wrist (┬┬﹏┬┬) but its cool! i also finished Gintama!! god it was so good!! its weird alot of mt favorite animes take me like 3 times to start it?? like gintama i started back in 2014 (it was like my 6th anime at the time) and only got to ep 40 before i dipped.. in like 2018 i got to ep 50 and dipped and finally in febuary i just started it and didnt look back lol.. One piece was the same way like id seen the romance dawn to arlong park like 6 times before i committed haha,,, i wanna make a seperate blog post about gintama since this is ment to be more than just weekly logs lol (thats why i made a whole seperate page for this nerd stuff) since im going to college next month these posts are probably gonna be more sparce!! my b (￣y▽,￣)╭
Notes : My work friend got me intrested in fire emblem!! i've downloaded the Fates games and im planning to play them during college! Right now im trying to complete persona by the end of august so that ill have it done before i leave!! im in the okumura fight (i havent had alot of time to play in july >_<) and MAN its hard ;-;... For anime i finally started vinland saga!! one of my besties recomended it to me forever ago and they were right i love it!! i also havent been reading alot of manga, i think ive only gotten like 10 more chapters into OP compared to last months log so were just gonna ignore that-
